One Positive thing

DGS3 has said he will be home for a while in April when we weren’t expecting to see him until the summer

I’ve got an appointment at audiology at my local hospital.

Walked through my local churchyard and saw carpets of snowdrops between the graves. And the sun was shining!

I found out this week that my operation on 20th December was considered successful and I am now out of pain.

My cat who had been missing for last 5 days turned up .( Didn't tell me what he'd been up too )

Either he has been ratting, or there is is a queenie cat in season.

I was walking up the pedestrian lane between the two houses opposite mine and who do you think I met coming the opposite way?

My Tigger cat! He let me pick him up, carry him across the road and well inside our garden, where I dumped him on the ground and he ran off round the house.

I had just opened the door to go inside, when he swooped past me, saying Blimey it's wet outside, ( in cat talk) and has stayed in all afternoon.

Happy to have a warm home and food in the kitchen. How blessed I feel.

Bulbs & garlic have all popped through the ground & snow has melted.

After an 18 month wait I have an appointment to see a consultant about my eye.

I got the results of last week’s smear test - everything is fine - best part though is that it was my final one as I am about to hit 65!

Hasn’t happened quite yet but Spring Is Coming! I hear the happy bird calls already.

Every day there IS something positive that happens to people - good nights sleep, unexpected phone call or text, your cake turns out, your pet loves you so much… things like that.

I never lose hope. Or faith.

My hedge has been cut and my windows cleaned: I've got a view!

I was chatting with my granddaughter one day and we were discussing something, which is easier to do when you are younger. She replied “you’re not old grandma” then added, “you’re very good for your age”. She made me smile and always does 🥰

My DH is out playing golf today for the first time since Christmas

Blue skies and no rain today

I had a really good piano practise yesterday and an excellent violin practise today.

We’ve finally got a completion date for our move. Moving by the coast.

I saw my first snowdrops today and the celandines have just blossomed in my garden.

I got free roses from the Olio app then just as they were past their best, free tulips from the foodbank where I volunteer as the clients hadn't taken them all. They really brighten up the room!

An unexpected phone call from the consultant to give me results before I see him next week was very welcome. Really appreciated his time and expertise

Just met my neighbours new baby girl, 3 months old, all pink and gorgeous 💓
