What did you go as Quokka?

My daughter once dressed as Mrs Weasley from Harry Potter. A skirt and cardigan from a charity shop and she used a red spray on her hair. It looked very convincing when she put it all together.

How about the LAUREN BACALL look? I wore wide black trousers, a sequinned jacket (charity shop) and a beret.

Black trousers and top, cats ears , face paint whiskers = catwoman

Don't forget it's characters from films - not sure Boudicca is sufficiently well known as a film for example.

Thanks for the inspiration. I’m tempted by a few of them but it will have to be something very obvious so that, as some have already said, I don’t spend all the time explaining who I am.

Mary Poppins is an easy one. Gladstone bag, traditional umbrella, jacket, long skirt and a hat.

I have a mini the minx outfit I drag out when I’m prevailed upon to dress up. Black beret, red and black striped jumper or tee shirt, red ribbons in my hair and red socks.
I look ridiculous but that’s the point!

Minnie Mouse? Mouse ears headband, big red bow, red n white spotted dress. Or Judi Dench as M in James Bond.

My first idea was Professor Sprout too, but there was a small stout very charming lady, I can neither remember her name or the character's in "Tea with Mussolini" the version with Maggie Smith if there are more than one versions of that film.

Or if you would rather be less lovable: stick with Harry Potter but go as Dolores Umbridge!
