Linen and linen blend jackets and coats I was in the machine on 30, then lightly spray starch when ironing.
I’m not sure about the different types of tumble dryers though I would assume the same principle applies.

Didn't know there was such a thing. Are they useable on all types of tumble dryer? I have a heat pump one.

I really dislike the smell of dry cleaned clothes and have washed so many things, like keepingquiet, on a short gentle machine wash. OH had a toothpaste stain on a fairly new linen jacket - dry clean only of course. I washed it and it looks perfect. I thought the shoulder padding might contort, but luckily not. Has anyone noticed how expensive dry cleaning is now ? Like the cost of everything else, it is going through the roof.

Mission accomplished!
I had purchased two coats from charity shops recently.
One was a Ted Baker costing £1..00. Bargain. The other coat was military style 3/4 length and cost £3.00.
It just seemed out of proportion to then pay £20 for cleaning.
I popped them both into the tumble dryer with one of the cleaning sheets.
20 minutes later out they came.
They smelt lovely. No creases. They were not dirty to begin with but obviously I wanted to fresh them up.
I’m well happy.
Thanks again for responding.

I have used in the past, they worked well but left a strong smell, was ok after being aired outside though.

Never heard of it though I would like to try it on a jacket, off to the internet

I don't dry clean- everything goes in my normal washing machine on a quick/cool wash.

Thanks Stoker
Just had look on net. The prices really do vary
Good luck if you have confidence to try possibly try on something you don’t care too much about first

Thank you for your replies.
I bought “ Dry Cleaners Secret 20 minute cleaner “ on the internet.
I couldn’t find it in the shops but was told that Lakeland may sell.

I found it very useful indeed but the supermarkets no longer sell the sheets. Dr. Beckmanns, as I recall.

I have used them, the items I cleaned were not stained so it was difficult to tell whether it actually worked.

I have in the past and was pleased with the results. Seem to remember I used it to freshen up jacket but don’t think they we’re heavily soiled
Didn’t know it was still available
What’s the brand and where from
Thanks

Has anyone ever done this and, if so, how did it go?
I’ve bought the sheets but getting cold feet now.
Thank you
