LibDems released theirs today I think.

And is on LD website. Nothing yet on Reform website that I could see. Shame.

Just clicked on the link to the Conservatives and it connected almost indecently fast.

However Green party linked to the Green Party pledges for Reading and Wokingham, not the national manifesto. That is because the Green nationalmanifesto is not going to be launched until tomorrow.

The Conservative link worked on my phone but not on my tablet which has a strong ad blocker.

I went to look at who was standing in my constituency and there was a link to all sorts of information including draft manifestos if the agreed one was not ready. Frankly I'd rather read fairy stories.

What they should do is give out a heavy fine for each broken promise after a party is elected. Dock the wages of the politicians concerned at the very least.

nanna. That is not practical because these parties do not employ prophets. They do not know what unforeseen event is going to affect the country.

Look back over the last 5 years, even a cursory glance brings up COVID, the war in Ukraine the currenet Arab/Jew conflict. Your country has had horrendous cataclysmic brush fires and floods.

With the best will in the world, catastrophic events like that can blow a governments manifesto promises right out of the water..

None of us know what world events, man made and natural are going to happen in the next 5 years. A super volcano explosion could give us several very cold years and mass crop failures. Global warming could acce;erate and coutries have to cut economic acrivity back to reduce emissions in a major emergency, Russia could fire a nuclear bumb.

Manifesto’s- just a hook to reel in votes 🎣🎣🎣
