Has anyone used the Debenhams website and knows how it compares to the clothes that were sold in store? Any ideas of comparable shops still trading

Even when Debenhams were on the High St I used the site, it is the clothing that was sold in store.

Yes as theexwife says, it's fine, I have had no problems.

Still shop online there and all ok. A range of brands and some good offers.
Just be aware that some items are from a Marketplace and not direct from Debenhams. Lots of places do this now.
Whilst you will only pay one lot of postage, items may not arrive at the same time.

I used it during lockdown. The items bought at the same time all arrived separately and took quite a while. It did matter at the time, but if you want something within a week, I’d be wary.

I ordered cushions from Debenhams online, but had to return them as the colour didn’t match the sofas. Unfortunately it was not a simple matter of returning them to Debenhams as the cushions were from a branded company. It meant I had to contact the branded company directly to get a returns slip and the whole process took weeks to receive a refund.

I used to shop at Debenhams. I stopped when Mike Ashley bought it. Ghastly man. Wild horses wouldn’t drag me.

Had no problems with the clothing from any of the Debenhams family of brands (Dorothy Perkins, Wallis, Coast etc). Same as before, thank goodness, as I have been using some of them for years! Bought other, household items and they have been fine. Website has improved too; I found it a bit wonky before.

Loved Debenhams stores, shopped there for years, even using their in store hairdressers and in store opticians
Since its closure, I've used the website a couple of times but find it incredibly slow and not particularly user friendly.

I used to love debenhams online , its handy for people like me , living with rheumatoid arthritis. But the last couple of years , I have changed to Next Online. Much better quality and delivery service, plus they sell petite and long leg , perfect for me , being 5'10

When I cannot sleep and my back is very painful I look through various online stores - seasalt is one that I like quite a lot, but I never buy from online. I prefer going into the shop and being able to feel the material and try things on there. I hate waiting for packages and even more having to send things back.Too much hassle. I have a seasalt store here and I can have things sent to the shop. They ring me if it is in. I go and try it on there. That way should there be anything wrong with it when it is out of the package, it is clear that it is not my fault. The staff are very pleasant and helpful and it sutis me .

I’ve used Debenhams online often , they have a huge selection of clothing . Like other online outlets they have many high end brands , more than they did pre high street closure days .
Never , had a problem.

Yes, always more choice online from Debenhams and more sizes.
