Comfortable shoes and trainers

Yet another vote for Skechers. They’re the only shoes my sister can wear that are comfortable, although she wishes the designs were ‘prettier’. I believe they do sandals too, NotSpaghetti.

I'm also looking for comfortable footwear - leather sandals ideally with buckles instead of velcro.
I too have a hammer toe and arthritis.
Any ideas please? Don't want to hijack the thread so ignore me if you think I am.

Sketchers for me too. I have several pairs, boots, trainers and sandals. I wouldn't wear anything else.
My brother in law has rheumatoid arthritis and his consultant advised him to buy Sketchers shoes.

Hokka give good support. I agree Sketchers comfortable but no good for walking any distance if your feet need that

Sketchers the one and only for me ,bunions, wearing these I'm unaware of them. Just brought som lovely summer ones.

Sketchers are like slippers. They are comfy but don't offer my feet any support. I only buy lace-ups now as I need the support for my foot. No particular brand but if they aren't cushioned I just buy foam in-soles. No more foot pain!

My husband wears Sketchers and kept insisting I get some, so I did - and they're the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I'm going to get some more.

The biomechanics/podiatrist at my rheumatology department recommended Hokka. He said I wouldn’t need insoles. I bought a pair and been wearing them for a year. They’re expensive but so comfortable and wearing well
I also buy FitFlop and sketchers but hokka the tops

Fitflop ‘Rally’ style for me. I also have metalwork (in both feet). The cushioning and high toe box really help me.

I have painful arthritic feet with metalwork in one. Sketches for me too even golf shoes and walking boots. (Bobs).

Skechers for me too. Go Walk.

I also have two Hammer toes which are very painful but since I bought the trainers I have no problem at all.

Another vote for Skechers - Go Walk. Sooo comfortable

Another vote for Sketchers. I’ve just bought a pair, they’re called ‘Slip-in’s’ here, not sure what name they are marketed in the UK, but they are brilliant. I got tired of repeatedly tying and untying laces countless times a day. It is like walking on air. Highly recommend.

I've got a fused ankle and lots of metalwork in my right foot so have very limited movement and still lots of pain - I find Sketchers the only footwear suitable for me. I've got several pairs and all are ok 👍. Hope you find something which suits you as I know from experience just how difficult it can be to find comfortable shoes

Good morning everyone i have very painful feet and also a hammer toe. Pain and burning sensation on the sole of my feet too.
Can anyone recommend cushion soled comfortable footwear please.
