I've got good legs but have never worn shorts, not even when I was young and slim. If you feel comfortable, wear them. It's a holiday, enjoy yourself.

I wear crops, but at the moment am wearing some M&S Per Una shorts I bought at the charity shop recently, £4. I love them, not ‘short short’ but not crops. Perhaps no longer fashionable, I neither know nor care.

In the garden I wear some Regatta shorts I bought in the sale, they are more like beach shorts, wouldn’t wear them to go into town with, but ok in garden or holiday.

Yes, I wear shorts and my legs look dreadful but I simply do not care. If my scars offend anyone that's too bad - I won the onslaught and I am proud of my battle scars smile

What do you think? Is 76 too old for wearing shorts.
I bought a navy pair yesterday, mid thigh, to wear on a holiday we have booked. My legs are not too bad, but it’s more I don’t want to look like mutton dressed as lamb. I normally wear crops…
I’m going with my daughter and three grandchildren, so yesterday while giving my Grandson a lift, he’s 16, I mentioned I’d bought shorts for the holiday, he just “Uumm”, I asked if he thought I was too old for shorts.
He was aghast and said “Grandma, why would you even think that, they’re just shorts, you just wear them, you’ll look great” He’s such a love ❤️
Do any of you Grandma’s wear shorts?
