Try a mobility centre shop.
There's one in our local Dobbies garden centre and they stock a lot of wide-fit shoes as well as the walkers, wheelchairs and scooters.

I used to buy Cosy slippers for my Dad too, lots of room in them and easy to get on and off. They were a bit pricey but they washed well.

Never bought the shoes or socks but I imagine they are the same.

Widerfit shoes are good. A good selection and excellent quality.

I used to get Cosy Feet shoes and slippers for my dad who had swollen feet due to heart failure. They are expensive but very well made and if they are needed for a medical condition you can get them VAT free. They have velcro fastenings. You can also buy socks from the same website

I'm asking for DH, his feet are swollen (water retention, on tablets) and he also has an untreated bunion which distorts his foot. Can anyone advice any shoes with a wide fitting and are easy to put on and socks with a loose comfortable cuff to them please?

Thank you Grans smile
