Saved my marriage, now OH can turn the heating down and I snuggle under my heated throw and just turn it's temperature up. No more disagreements about how warm a room should be because I'm always toasty warm and it's super cheap to run.

I would struggle without my coffee machine (DH wouldn’t notice he is an instant coffee drinker).

Yes definitely books, and I know some people don't like them but I do like diffusers. I only buy the best ones Jo Malone or Neom, sometimes The White Company, just love a fragrant smelling house. Sorry! I know you said 5 NanKate, but I'm sure I'll keep thinking of other things that make a house a home.
