Wasn’t this what Meghan Markle accused a Royal of speculating about?
Don’t go there!

Yes it was. What MM didn’t point out is that every ‘mixed’ race couple expecting a baby wonders how light or dark the baby will be, not to say that they are worried about it but are curious.

Presume this is a joke thread perhaps to get the racists blood boiling
‘Will it have blue eyes and blonde hair like mine ?’ 🤣🤣🤣
Are schools out at the moment ?
How old are you Lori 2005 perhaps your name gives a clue making you 20 so what’s the point in joining a grans site with a ridiculous question ??

Exactly!

No one knows what their child will look like until they're born.

Blue eyes are recessive, so most likely beautiful brown eyes and gorgeous curly brown hair. Skin tone could be a anything from fair to dark. Whichever way a cuddly, happy and hopefully healthy baby!

I rather believe she is now Meghan Sussex.

When my father was asked who the new baby looked like, he used to reply "He looks like himself" and I rather like that idea, so that you are happy to greet your new baby just as themselves and not looking for them to be like anyone else. Sometimes people can expect similar traits just because they are similar to another family member. When you meet them you will find they look just as they should! My son is adopted and it used to amuse me how some people would say how much he looked like my husband or me etc. Best wishes for you and your new life

Several sets of twins have been born, one child white, one black.

One British family has two sets of twins, one white, one black in each set. How lucky are they to have four such gorgeous girls!

My sister looked nothing like either parent or siblings. It was a mystery until I researched our family tree and was sent a photo of our great, great grandmother by a distant cousin. Spitting image even down to the same dental imperfections. Five generations and she looked like a clone.

Congratulations, hope all goes well.

No-one can tell you what the baby will look like, he will 'look like himself' as my MIL used to say.

You can't predict. One of my kids is obviously mixed race one isn't. It is random how the genes are passed on. I'm sure he will be beautiful.

He will look like himself. Many congratulations on your pregnancy.

I'm in an interracial relationship, I'm a blue eyed blond with very fair skin, my boyfriend is a very dark black man. I'm currently 26 weeks pregnant with our son. I was wondering what he's going to look like. Will he have blue eyes and fair skin like mine or will he dark skin, like his father, or somewhere in-between?
