Yodel parcel stollen

Has anyone had a problem with Yodel the parcel delivery company?
Today I was informed that a plant would be delivered to my porch.
I did hear a bang as if a parcel had been dropped then another lighter noise which I now believe could have been the parcel snatched back.
I was busy at the time on my computer

This seems to be an ongoing problem, not just with Yodel. Amazon drivers just leave parcels on doorsteps without even ringing the bell. Criminals have now got wind of this and they follow vans around and steal the parcels. I live on a public footpath and it’s just lucky that nothing has been stolen yet.

I’m almost always in during the day. So many parcels are left just on the step. Often they don’t bother to knock or ring the bell.
I know they are under pressure with so many to deliver in one day.
Amazon delivery drivers have left parcels in the bin, under the car or in the garden!
Our side gate is always locked but had been left unlocked by mistake. On this day I heard something (dogs barked) so went to the door. There were 2 Amazon delivery drivers one looked sheepish and indicated the side of the house. The other was off down the drive with a large wooden broom.
I looked but there was no parcel. Looked by the back door and there were 2 parcels right by the door some distance from the gate.
Thought he’d used the brush to move the boxes.
It was only when DH got home from work that he remembered the gate was unlocked and realised they’d stolen our broom!
Amazon only refunded £5 and asked for doorbell or CCTV footage which we didn’t have.

That is not nice to read. I hope you got your parcels into end.
Last night I was able to get proof through my security camera that the young driver did take my parcel back to the van. My neighbour also had a pore with Yodel but got his pare the next day so fingers crossed

Excuse mistakes, it’s early!

The problem gets more frustrating when one cannot get hold of the company and being a plant it needs a quick delivery

One of my neighbours found it in the end but not where I was informed it was left. I expect the young lad had his reasons

Yodel are the worst around here. Very unreliable.

I like Yodel, they're the only ones with an efficient drop-off round here & I've not had any problems. Unlike Royal Mail who seem to bash my parcels ( I was sending a camera once & despite it having "fragile" tape, the lady threw it through the air into a sack rather than get off her seat & walk two paces.)

I ordered a garden statue and Yodel were supposed to have delivered it. I had been working in the front garden all morning so I knew they hadn't been anywhere near. I went on their online chat and was told that, as I wasn't in (lie) it had been left with my next door neighbour and somebody called Derek had signed for it. This neighbour was the other side of a busy road but I went to see them anyway. I was very surprised to find that nobody called Derek lived there and they did not have my parcel.

I went back to Yodel and they told me the same thing again despite the fact that I informed them that I had called on the neighbour etc. They finally said that the parcel had been delivered and that they need take no further action, in other words I had imagined or made up the whole thing.
