Warning; The C word, but suggestions welcome.

I am thinking of going away somewhere for Christmas. My DC would probably invite me but I don't fancy doing the whole roast turkey/ keeping jolly/ hosting everyone but not knowing if they really enjoy it.

Does anyone have ideas for a singleton in her 70s? I like good food and company. Warmth would help.

If I was to go away it wouldn't need to be a British Christmas. I have been looking at some of the suggestions. Thanks again.

Do you like a spa visit? If I were in your situation I would splash out on a 4 day stay at Ragdale Hall - they push the boat out at Christmas and always cater well for single visitors. Lots of activities to choose from and relaxation spaces and classes and the food is divine!
