Baileys - a naff Xmas drink that people feel they have to get in, but few people actually like it. Pour a glass and if it tastes ok and isn't lumpy it probably is allright.

I have been known to pour the remains of last year's Bailey's down the sink, it had been in the fridge but I didn't trust it.

As for the Christmas pudding, still pondering whether to eat the five year old one or not

My DH worries about the hinges on the dishwasher if you open and shut it all day (good excuse not to load).

Unfortunately Baileys goes off. When my husband’s step mother’s parents died she cleared out their drinks cupboard and gave me the open bottle of Baileys. It came out the bottle in lumps - think that is the only present she has ever given me.

My father refused to wear his hearing aids full time because "it runs the batteries down". Consequently he never got used to them

Some people have some funny ideas. When my late MiL was given perfume, she would never open the bottle. Her reason was that, if she opened it, it would evaporate and she wouldn’t be able to use it! I puzzled for a while about that one, but was none the wiser!
Different situation, but just as strange ……I met a neighbour this morning and she was all dressed up. I asked where she was off to in all her finery. ‘A funeral’, she said, (rather too gleefully, I thought) They always give me an excuse to dress up!’
As my ‘oop north’ Dad used to say, ‘there’s nowt as queer as folk’!

I’ve done the chocolate thing. Kept it unopened too long, then had to eat them all myself as they were discoloured so couldn’t share them. LOL

It often strikes me that some people have never had any real problems. Lucky them.
