Breakfast suggestions

Sardines?

Baked beans? Scrambled egg?

Go continental and have cheese, ham or any kind of tinned fish?

I often go through my fridge to have a ‘use up’ and often as not whatever it is gets spread on toast and eaten at any time of the day, including breakfast.

Favourites are:
Hummus.
Taramasalata.
Egg mayonnaise.
Anything cheesy
Anything spicy.

Sometimes I think I’m just a human dustbin but toast is the great love of my life! 😂

Can't beat a good quality potted beef - preferably made by your local butcher 😋

Marmite, strong spreadable cheese.

I love toast.
My daughter said that as a child, she could always remember the sound of the grill pan sliding out, once she'd gone to bed

Does it have to be toast? I reckon you can't beat good ham or lovely cheese or garlic sausage on fresh crusty bread.

I like the pots of sandwich filllers, from the chiller cabinet , egg & bacon is my fave, but loads of choice, they have a good shelf life and surprisingly low fat a little spread on toast is lovely in the morning.

OH has porridge, if there's any left, I have it, but I usually have toast with banana, I don't like a fried breakfast.

Hummus. Our basil is so nice now, hummus flavour today.

I make smoked mackerel pate, dead easy takes seconds.

Avocado, it’s delicious on toast.

Poached eggs

Rarely varies.
Frozen blueberries, a spoonful of oats, a spoonful of mixed seeds with chia seeds, a dollop of Greek yoghurt and sprinkle of cinnamon.

Just a coffee when I wake up about 9 - toast or whatever , later, for brunch at about 12-12.30
