Currently living in a standard 1930’s 3 bed semi, nothing fancy, it’s actually not that big, but due to location it’s worth around 800k ( we’re mortgage free )
We have 3 adult children, 2 of whom could do with a bit of financial help to get them a bigger place. ( my son lives in a tiny flat that he hates - he’s single btw )
None of them ever say anything. but I’m starting to feel guilty and that perhaps we should downsize to a flat or smaller house to help them out.
I love my house though, and the thought of moving scares me rather than excites me - ( I’m 63 ) plus our area is great for transport, shopping, doctors etc.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Seems it’s now Harry’s uncle - the Earl of Spencer - having his turn at a “tell all” book.
