My OH suffered a cardiac arrest nine months ago. He survived, and after critical care, a hospital stay that was the stuff of nightmares (staff shortages meant we could not leave him as I doubt he would have survived that time) and a spell at a rehabilitation centre, we now have him at home. He is improving, albeit slowly, but at times we feel desperate because we have no idea if he can regain a decent life.
Has anyone had experience of a relative's recovery - or not - from this medical incident?
