To let all my friends on GN aware that my lovely man John died very suddenly this last Monday morning it is such a shock all I console myself with is that my darling man knew nothing about it.
He enjoyed reading GN posts every now and then and laughed at many of them xx RIP my darling John.x

glamma I am so sorry to hear this. Such a shock for you and you will be reeling from it.

When this happened to me with my Mum, I had to keep reminding myself that it was much better for her not to have suffered like so many do .... but it is a terrible shock for those who love the person who has passed so suddenly.

I hope you have plenty of support. Sending love and a hug, and flowers

Glammanana, when we think about death and dying, that's the way we'd all prefer to go - just suddenly. It's tough on you, the shock of it, but such a comfort that he missed all the suffering and lingering. We are all here for you.

Glamma I’m so very sorry. A sudden death is as cruel and painful a loss as seeing someone slowly decline. Thinking of you and your family with deep sympathy. x

I learned of this very devastating news as it had happened on Monday because I'm not far from Glamma. I can tell you that it knocked me sideways and I spent the day so very upset.
The most lovely man you could ever meet as I'd known him for a number of years along with Glamma herself.

I still can't believe that I won't see him for the chats and laughs we used to have when he was out with the dogs and I know those animals will be wondering where he is too, it's so terrible.
It's always sad to lose someone or to hear of such sad news but when you know them the sadness goes much deeper.

I feel for Glamma so much and will call to see her at some point, though I know her lovely daughter and family will be regular visitors so I don't want to encroach on their grief.

Glamma is such a lovely person and we have a good chin-wag when we see each other and a laugh too.
I can't help but get upset when I think about this tragic situation as they were always together.
Words can't describe how he'll be missed, by the community as well.

Glamma I haven't stopped thinking about you and I promise I'll pop along and see you xx

Ellan perhaps you could give a group hug on behalf of those of us who have 'known' Glamma and her husband for years, but only on GN. Sorry too that you'll miss a good friend.

I will give her a hug from everyone MCEM and I'm sure, if she's reading this, she'll find some comfort from those she's " known " here.
It's heartwarming to see so many sending their condolences. X
