Soooo sorry to hear of your sad loss most especially at this time of the year tho it does sound as though you have family support around you. Hold them close and be thankful that your darling husbands passing was quick and peaceful, it's all that we would wish for each other. Hugs xx....

Dear Glamma, I have only just read about your sad loss. I read EVs lovely post which was so special.
I think I'm originally from your neck of the woods...I was born in Southport but can never make the meet ups because I'm now permanently in France.
I wish I was closer to where you are and could do something but I'm thinking of you at this very sad time and sending love, thoughts and prayers every day.

My John was the most wonderful person you could wish to meet,he adored his family and was delighted these past 3 yrs to have small people in the family by way of our 2 x GGCs and a GD he loved helping me care for our GGS every Wednesday when his mummy went to work,he had a strong work ethic which he has passed onto our ACs and adult GCs.
My John left the house on Monday 7.25am to take our DD to work turned out of our Road then pulled the car over to the kerb and was gone by 7.30 he was caring right to the end by pulling out of traffic and not causing an accident.

Gramma, all my sympathies to you at this time. The same thing happened to me, and I am comforted by the fact that I have no memories of him looking old or ill, and suffering a long illness. The picture in my mind is always of his lovely face.
This is such a hard time for you, you will find strength from memories of the happiness you both shared. It is hard to believe at first, but I promise you it will happen. My love and thoughts are with you.

I am so sorry for your loss. Life stands still for a while. I lost my dear husband suddenly on boxing day a few years ago. The feeling is like no other, please take comfort in memories it's a long road ahead but the love and support of loved ones will be a blessing. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
