Hello to my lovely friends on GN,its now 6 weeks since that dreadful day when I lost my John so suddenly.
We held the service last Monday and it was attended by such a lot of people from family,friends and previous work collegues.
We are still unable to register death as an inquest is required with John dying outside the home that will take place 13th March so real closure is on hold until then so more upset I feel.
I have had the most awful time with Poppy fretting for her dad and she is waiting for me every morning for walks at 6.30am and will only take food from my hand it will take a while for her as well as for me.

The inquest is a long way off but if gn can help you get through that time then you know we will.

It must have been bittersweet to see so many people wanting to pay their respects at John's funeral. (((Hugs)))

I expect sometimes 6 weeks can feel like a very long time and at other times feels just like yesterday.

Such a very sad time for you. I hope you are surrounded by love and support from your family and friends. Poor Poppy, too.
