You were her true friend in life and she knew you treasured her friendship. When the shock subsides you will remember her and smile at some of the things you did and the times you had. flowers

How absolutely dreadful, I can't think of anything I could offer that would give any comfort, but just had to post something. Everyone's thoughts are with you, I am sure.

I really don't know what to say mande but I couldn't just read your thread and not post.
You are obviously devastated as will be your friend's family, so all I can do is to offer my condolences and flowers

So sad for you and her family. A sudden loss like that is hard to bear at any time of year. A 16yr old lad was killed in a road accident near here last week. flowers

My wonderful friend was killed in a car accident on the motorway yesterday evening. We think she had become confused on the roundabout and went down the exit slipway into oncoming traffic. I am absolutely devastated.
Her body was released this evening and I was too afraid of driving to the wake to see her and be with her family. My own ability to see and drive at night is failing. My son, thank god, drove me there.
Everything gets so hard the older we get. And grief and loss compound the fears.
