That is very very sad. Your poor daughter must be very sad and upset. I hope she doesn’t feel any guilt. There are some people who just can’t be helped. Your right his parents must be distraught. Condolences to all of you affected.

Just to add, they were not married but lived together.
I can't say much more. I really feel for his mum and family.

That is a sad end to a rather sad young life, your daughter must be feeling shocked and upset ninathenana it's good you are there to support her.

That's a sad end to a young life. Poor soul.

ninathenana Thu 02-Jan-20 16:34:15

We have no idea at the moment where the funeral will be. We're not even sure where in the country he was living. His step dad lives in Scotland and his mum lives in Spain.

mumofmadboys Thu 02-Jan-20 16:30:10

Oh dear that is very sad. So young. I'm sorry for your DD and you all. Will you go to the funeral?

phoenix Thu 02-Jan-20 16:26:42

That is sad.

Even though he was her ex, your daughter is bound to be reacting to this news.

He was a very needy person. He was a T1 diabetic who never looked after himself expecting DD to be his nurse and run around sorting his meds and generally mothering and supporting financially. Hr was hospitalised 3-4 times a year with DKA during the four years they were together.
DD has just been told that he was found dead alone yesterday. He was only 32 ? very sad.
We're not sure how he died. DD is a little tearful and shocked but not really surprised.
