25th April ANZAC Day:
Traditionally on this day, right across Australia and New Zealand, we gather to remember those who served and are still serving in war zones.
This year we cannot do that but pride and gratitude is still there in our hearts.
So stand apart but together and Remember in silence.
Remember also, in this devastating year of 2020, that we have other heroes to thank; other sacrifices to honour; other deaths to mourn.
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning,
We will remember them.
I te hekenga atu o te rā
Tae noa ki te arangamai i te ata
Ka maumahara tonu tātou ki a rātou
