The Snow Queen

Just to clarify, I have had kind permission from Geraldine of Gransnet to post this. (Bit of confusion on Friday it seems.)
I have just published another ebook - The Snow Queen. Been tinkering with my own version of this for a couple of years now and decided to share it in ebook format. I love the story - originally by Hans Christian Anderson - and not only because the main roles are all female. Translations of HCA's original are I think a bit wordy and 19th century for today's grandchildren, but the story of Gerda going off alone to rescue her friend is a classic.
You can sample it on Kindle site at: or for other kinds of ereading on Smashwords

Have bought the WHOLE kindle book - a bargain at £1.91 so everyone should have one! (and if that is advertising I don't care - It is for JessM)

I'm presuming someone actually expressed the view that Jess was advertising without permission! hmm Words fail me....good for you, Jess, I'll certainly be giving it a go! smile

Thread just disappeared. HQ said it had turned into a 'bunfight'. Hadn't seen any replies after I said how much I loved the story [one of my all time favourites] so don't know what happened. And, she'd made it clear it had been passed by HQ as well. Curioser and curioser.

Yes, I suppose at £1.91 I could have downloaded the whole book! grin hmm
