The Ocean at the end of the Lane - Neil Gaiman

He did - I'm waiting for it to come back to the library and looking forward to reading it. I hadn't known it had been made for TV, I wonder if I saw it? I'm not sure which books are YA or for adults but I don't think it matters because they are enjoyable stories. He's written(?) lots of graphic books too - a very talented man!

Didn't he also write Neverwhen? This was made into a tv series which my teenagers liked [ages ago.] Seem to remember it's set in the old tube stations under London, but not our own London.Does he write all his books for Y/A ? or is some of it for adults?

I've just finished reading Stardust (following JessM's recommendation). It was lovely! I didn't know it had been made into a film when I started reading but the story was familiar although I knew I hadn't read it before so seeing Stardust on the TV listings was a lightbulb moment! Now I'm off to look for the next Gaiman book to read...
