Over the festive season we love nothing more than curling up with a good book and a box of mince pie or two. And this year there are some VERY good books indeed. So we asked all the publishers we work with to nominate one of their favourite reads to enjoy this Christmas. And here they all are in one handy list.

Better still - one lucky gransnetter can win the ENTIRE lot. Yup - that's every book featured on the page. Worth more than £500. In our book (no pun intended) that's a pretty fine haul at any time of year - and absolutely perfect for Christmas.

We just want to know where you like reading. Your answers will be put into the very large hat and a draw (made at random) will take place at midday on Weds 10 December - so the winner will receive their prize in plenty of time for the big day. All the details on the page

I don't focus vey well when trying to read while sat in a chair, but curled up in bed, glasses off and book at the end of my nose is great and I read lots!! And if one of the cats come to join me so much the better

I love to get into bed with the electric blanket on and have half an hour before I can't keep my eyes open anymore... such a nice time of day.

I've just bought a new chair for my Man Cave, so that's my new favourite place to read.

My favourite place to read is a window seat in a cafe opposite the local riding stables. I know the horses, and I love to see them turning out for a ride. I time my arrival so that I'm ensconced well before the ride starts; sometimes I'm still there when they come back.

Every night I look forward to a snuggly half hour in bed reading which ever nordic crime book I have on the go - then lights out and sleep! It has been known for insomnia to raise its head an hour later - so on with the bedside light and a little more reading until I fall asleep again - often with light on and the book in hand!!

I love reading snuggled up in bed with a hot chocolate! It's the perfect way to settle in for the night

I used to like to read in complete silence but family life made me adapt so now I can just shut off and read anywhere. Favourite place would be on one of our comfy old sofas with a cup of tea - or preferably a glass of chilled NZ Sauvignon. Football on TV in the background is even better as I know I'm not going to be interrupted by my other half!

I like to read sitting at the dinning room table.

I've had a brand new fire installed this summer ...with the settee pulled close there's no better place to read ( and to snooze afterwards ).

If it's sunny I like to sit by the lake to read with a flask of coffee but if it's raining I sit in my favourite café with a cup of coffee.

In my conservatory curled up on the sofa with a cup of tea and the cat on a warm, sunny day.

My favourite place to read is in bed, in fact it is the only place where I have time to myself with no feelings of guilt for doing something which is just for me!

Chell53 Fri 14-Nov-14 16:24:49

I prefer reading in bed where it's comfy. Hardbacks are difficult to read this way but mainly I manage.

vixxx666 Fri 14-Nov-14 16:19:54

In bed for sure! Snuggled in my dressing gown and under the duvet!

AmandaLux Fri 14-Nov-14 16:16:48

Curled up on my settee with a huge cup of tea.

rjs19561I didn't realise Bedfords Park still existed - I thought it had been replaced by Hainault Country Park. Are the deer still there?

I always got through a lot of books when I was working because I'd read on the tube to and from work. Nowadays I'm most likely to read on the over round train journey to Colchester when I visit my mum. I find it difficult to relax and read at home.

My favorite place is on the wooden bench at at the top of Bedfords Park. A seat with a view that spans East London from a high. My Cocker Spaniel happily lying at the side of the bench prior to the long walk home.

My favourite place to read is in bed - I have never gone to sleep without reading at least a few pages of a book and I could never imagine having to do so!

purpleteapot Fri 14-Nov-14 15:51:23

curled up on the sofa, snuggled in a fluffy dressing gown

Ritaleeds Fri 14-Nov-14 15:50:01

I read anywhere anytime but my favorite place to read is definitely in the bath with a glass of wine - fab!

I usually sit in my conservatory to read, catching a few rays whilst enjoying a bit of peace and quiet.
