What time of day do you read.

Papers, morning and book either in bed or garden summer sunbathing (roll on!).

Same as TwiceAsNice. I'd read all day if possible. I am a book-worm. I do prefer actual books to Kindle but still appreciate my Kindle for being able to hold so much when I travel.
I read in the loo so much it was renamed "the Library" when I was a child. As a child it was a standing joke that I would be somewhere reading something when they wanted me and that I couldn't polish the family's shoes without reading the newspaper I'd put down on the floor first.
I can't stand those messages on walls or on wallpaper because I have a compulsive need to read them and I'm fed up with being told to "Live Laugh Love" (Another thread?)

I read at mealtimes, if it is just us in the kitchen, and at bedtime.

I read whenever I can, and I have to take issue with Mollie - that includes walking! Why is that daft? I do look up at regular intervals and when crossing the road!

I always have my Kindle and read if I think I will be waiting, i.e. launderette, GP, train etc. But I must read every night as it puts me to sleep. I usually do manage one or two chapters before nodding off. Worst thing is falling asleep and Kindle falling onto my face! Don't want to have to explain a black eye!!

I go to bed at 10 pm because I want to read for at least an hour. I love reading so much. If I wake during the night I start reading again.

I read in bed, can't sleep otherwise. And yesterday afternoon because the book is due back at the library today.
I read books, and absolutely anything else. I love reading.

Anytime. Most things except bus timetables....

I read the Guardian, the Daily Mail & subscribe to the Telegraph (all on my wonderful iPad). Good to read the news with different viewpoints. And then I read books on my Kindle and paper books too as I like both. ???. We live in a small apartment (one here, one in Malaga) so not much housework to do. Yippee! I never feel guilty reading as a consequence.

I dont read a lot, but if I have a good bok I tend to read late at night before going to bed, I find it difficult to read in bed with my verifocals. I read magazines during the day at various times.

Like Bellanonna, I read anywhere I have to wait. Trains, busses, in bed at night, waiting for friends, appointments.

When I was younger, I would read morning, noon & night,even with a torch under the covers,I was always impatient to get to the end. I’m not quite so bad now, but still always have a book or two on the go.
I have tried on line, kindle etc, but for me has to be a physical book . I just love them

Any time, any place, anywhere . I always read 2 or 3 chapters at night in bed, and during the day I read while eating lunch and dinner, or when I sit down for a cuppa. While waiting in the doctor's/dentist's, at the hairdresser. When I'm babysitting (after the children are in bed, of course). When I'm out and about if I pop in for a coffee somewhere out comes the Kindle. If it's a real page turner, I'll even read in the car (with DH driving of course), though I try to resist as it's rather unsociable of me!

I read any old time according to what I'm doing that day. I have a kindle but still like to read a real book as well. Always spend part of Saturday reading two newspapers but don't buy one other days although DD1 brings me home a copy of the Standard which I usually read in need that night

I used to read for hours especially if it was a book I was really into but these days I only manage a page or two when I go to bed. If I find something I can't put down I'll maybe read it over lunch but lately I haven't found a book that interesting!

Now I just tend to read at night, but for far too long if the book is really gripping. If I'm holiday I read any time of the day as well.

I am with lemongrove I read for hours every day getting through t 4 books a week or more. I order them from our local library we are allowed to order 24 at a time so once I have reached my limited I order in DH's name . He does read them as well . Joy of joys the library has Peter May's latest bestseller waiting for me plus Eddie Mair's autobiography. I love listening to him on the radio . I also keep an eye on kindle unlimited free offers and have just had three months free . I like them for biographies .

Any time but principally last thing at night and early morning between waking up and getting up.

Reading a book is for last thing at night or on holiday. At the hairdressers I want to read all the glossy mags. I don't want to buy!

Same here Jane I always had my nose in a book, and actually still do.No special times, I read morning Noon and night.?So many books, so little time.

I used to want to read all the time when I was a child but was always being told to stop reading and go out and play or get on with chores. When I had my own children I resolved to let them read as much as they wanted to. Result - they didn't want to!! So unfair.

Books in bed, in waiting rooms, on trains, anywhere I have to wait.
