I have to choose our next Book Club book and I am looking for recommendations. We are not a highbrow group but like well-written books. The other members tend to go for prize winning books but I just like a good read.

Henry 8th - The Heart and the Crown by Alison Weir. Puts a completely different perspective on Henry 8th's life. He was a monster, yes, but he had his reasons! I finished the book thinking he was actually quite a nice bloke.

PS I'm intrigued by these deleted posts. What's going on?
