I was right about the figure 21 and that the author was either Japanese or Chinese, so my memory was better than I’d realised🤣
Thank you to grannydarkhair I did a Gransnet search on “50 books a year 2020/2021” on the Books forum . It took a lot of patience and time but I got there in the end. I thought the book was very helpful especially during Lockdown
The book is a self help one based on 21 days of mindfulness. It goes through every day suggesting activities from the moment on waking up to just before going to sleep and was recommended by a Gransnet reader, about 2 years ago. I think the author was either Japanese or Chinese. Sorry to be so vague. Any ideas?
