Demon Copperhead sounds good, but isn't it incredibly long?

Oreo Demon Copperhead is a reworking of David Copperfield set against the opiod crisis of modern day America. Most of the setting taking place within the poorer communities of The Appalacians, in Virginia.

Demon Copperhead for me, too.

Oreo, it’s set in a poor area of W Virginia, where the coal mines are/were the only work and people’ expectations are low but they do look out for each other. It’s told from the pov of a young boy whose family disintegrates and how he copes with his life.

Could you give a brief taste of Demon Copperhead without any spoilers?

Demon Copperhead. I've loved all of Barbara Kingsolver's books but this one is the most likely to stick in my memory. The best writer and the best book of my year - so far.

Klara And The Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro
AI is a hot topic now and this book makes you really think about it.

Demon Copperhead Barbara Kingsolver By far the best thing I've read this year.

I read Shrines of Gaiety last year, enjoyed it, but not one of Kate Atkinson's best for me.

For me, it has to be Shrines of Gaiety by Kate Atkinson. Loved it.
