Hi
So sorry for your worries. Lots of issues, just a thought or two:
1. Do the manager and staff actually object to your aunts friend and her comments? If the manager and staff haven't complained, then just ignore it.
2. There may well be a glimmer of truth in what she is saying - I have been a nurse and a care worker and I'm afraid that some staff are exceptionally lazy and/or overworked and won't make any effort with someone. Other staff can be over rigorous and intrusive and don't have any notion of respect, dignity, or communication.
3. My mother spent her final 12 weeks in a hospice and HATED anyone doing anything for her. I was very upset and at times embarressed by the way that my normally kind and loving mother spoke to some staff, some of whom were trying to do their best and some frankly, were rather bossy.
3. Your aunt has a friend who visits and I suspect that the staff listen to the moans from the friend, and then get on with their work, after a moan amongst themselves about her.
4. Loads of great advice and comments from other people on this thread, hopefully your worries will lessen.
Best wishes ?
