Animal Crossing (DS)

Oh yes GreyHaired Worrier I see it now, thanks. Ah well looks like I'm to carry on being a lonely gamer. Incidentally, if anyone out there does have a DS, Animal Crossing is a great game, I'm getting quite obsessed. It's probably more for adults than kids as I think some of the humour on it would be lost on children, plus there's a lot of reading to do so maybe not so good for younger children.

Am I the only gransnetter that feels trapped? I work full time and have grown up children who make demands, which I do my best to meet and am happy to do so. But........I am unhappy in my job and would like to be part time, but funds will not allow that. As I am (obviously) getting older, I want to be freer(is that spelt correctly) to do what I choose, whether it be grandchild care, housework, gardening or pottering. I want to wake up in the morning with a smile and not a feeling of pure dread. Evey day is mapped out and I feel stifled. Any wise words of wisdom?
