Phoenix Hilarious! I am almost wetting myself having read your 2 accounts.gringringrin
I too have been having trouble with typing posts today - they don't want to up/down load and I have to start all over again - so b....y frustrating.

I think I have only ever had one accident in the wee department - I was 5, first day at school, wee'd in the classroom which was bad enough, but was then put into headmaster's son's Y-fronts held together with a safety pin for the rest of the day. (son was about 14)

Bet you always check you've taken your knickers down these days Phoenix! grin

Once rushed to the loo in a desperate hurry - sat down, did the deed....then very quickly realised I hadn't lifted the lid.....(this is where we need the YUCK emoticon)! blush

Anne58 Sun 22-Jan-12 16:05:02

Nah JessM I've given up wearing them! (Only kidding!) grin

When I was about to leave the hotel I remembered that I needed something out of my suitcase. To my surprise, it was locked and needed a key to unlock it. I was fairly sure that I had not locked it with a key, but I supposed it was one of those 'senior moments'. The hotel owner sent for a strong pair of metal cutters to snip the padlock and was just about to begin when I realised it was not my case, just one of a similar colour. I did feel a fool!

absentgrana Sun 22-Jan-12 16:16:02

Greatnan You'd have felt a great deal worse if the hotel owner had been a bit quicker. smile

jeni Sun 22-Jan-12 16:31:12

I've tried to unlock the wrong car before. Same colour but different makeblush

glammanana Sun 22-Jan-12 17:26:09

Anne58 Sun 22-Jan-12 17:26:53

Thank you, I think!

(It's nice to know that my misfortunes brighten someones day!)

nanachrissy Sun 22-Jan-12 18:36:47

Phoenix just keep your fingers crossed that Geraldine isn't writing another article in The Guardian! grin

Anne58 Sun 22-Jan-12 19:00:56

Oh blimey!, I have done loads of live interviews for various Local BBC Radio things, and also a couple of ones for the property section of the Daily Telegraph, but none of them have involved knicker wetting related incidents!

jeni Sun 22-Jan-12 19:04:34

Why not?

Anne58 Sun 22-Jan-12 19:09:46

Jeni because they were (in the main) serious articles about mystery shopping!

jeni Sun 22-Jan-12 19:20:26

You go shopping for mysteries?

Anne58 Sun 22-Jan-12 22:13:23

NO! I'm business development manager for Mystery Shoppers Ltd.

Oldgreymare Sun 22-Jan-12 22:57:28

Driving back to Anglesey, in the dark, desperate for a wee. Said to OG lets just pull off down the next lane.
'You can't do that', he said.
'Trust me I'm a country girl' I replied dismissively.
Pants down, and at a point, mid flow when it's impossible to stop, along came a tractor with its headlights on......blush

Oldgreymare Sun 22-Jan-12 22:59:27

Phoenix wow!

glammanana Sun 22-Jan-12 23:13:22

OGM Similar thing happened when I was expecting DS2 I was 8mths and coming back from Wales in a very old LandRover which just happened to find every bump in the road, the poor child must have been shook all over the place and the need to go to the loo became desperate and we had to stop at a grass verge and find a bush, just as I was standing up a car pulled in behind us and it was not difficult to the eye what I had done, but I just smiled and said "hello" and got back in the car and off we went with me very red faced.blush

glammanana Mon 23-Jan-12 00:08:55

A couple of years ago I applied also but was put off by the charges that where involved by some of the Companies and the stupid thing is I know the job inside out as I used to arrange the mystery shopping when I worked in the new homes industry
