glass don't want to step on your toes, but though it might be a good idea to have a thread for this.

I've got the chariot to get ready, and the horses to sort, after all. Got to be prepared! grin

I have my suspicions...

JessM Wed 14-Mar-12 08:41:40

oh dear. Note to team. Don't leave Jess to clear up... but now I come to think about it there was that person who was still under a blanket with Jimi when I left. It's OK darling. I won't let on who you are. My lips are sealed.

nanachrissy Wed 14-Mar-12 08:17:29

I think I am safe in France - messing up Stonehenge is not extraditable.

Carol Tue 13-Mar-12 19:58:03

Funny it seems to be the usual suspects whenever something like this happens! Only saying grin

glassortwo Tue 13-Mar-12 19:52:35

Well I hope you have got your stories sorted before they catch up with us wink wink

Carol Tue 13-Mar-12 18:56:50

Well spotted Annobel (I suppose her vantage point on top of one of the stones helped her see what was going on - 'I believe she can fly!') grin

Annobel Tue 13-Mar-12 18:28:06

They were there before us. I have some pictures of them on my phone... wink

Carol Tue 13-Mar-12 18:17:53

I think we were stitched up! grin

Oxon70 Tue 13-Mar-12 18:08:00

jingle he certainly landed on his paws when he found us. At first, we imagined that a few scraps would be well received. Then someone gave us a month's supply of Gourmet cat food [too rich for their own pet.] When he was well-used to dining in style, he invited his wifelet and two kits to share the spoils. So now we have four cats to care for. Do we ever get a thankyou? Nah! We love him regardless...grin

supernana Mon 12-Mar-12 13:59:27

glass grin We must try to maintain a sense of decorum...otherwise I may be sent hippity hopping...wearing my tartan nightshirt...clutching an empty bottle of bubbly. Now, what would Geraldine have to say about that!

wotsamashedupjingl Mon 12-Mar-12 13:50:01

Supernana I think I want to be your feral cat. envy

glassortwo Mon 12-Mar-12 13:43:38

supernana Mon 12-Mar-12 13:08:55

glamma The very thought of a virtual posh tea party with GN friends makes me grin

glammanana Mon 12-Mar-12 12:22:46

supernana I will fly up with some strawberries and cream and a selection of canopes for a posh afternoon tea in your nice posh surroundings. The first outing of the 4 x 4 was a success so I should be OK will just get some extra padding to the seat for such a long journey.grin

supernana Mon 12-Mar-12 11:57:47

jeni I'm dh's hot water bottle wink
Annobel Rory is reclining in a straw basket, lined with fleece, [his day bed] on the mat outside the kitchen door. This leaves his upmarket apartment free for his maidservant to clean and air...hmm
glass and golden I'll let you know when I shall be hostessing the Champagne party from my hospital bed. It's an open invitation.grin
jingle We've had three caravan homes. Very cosy and pleasant they were, too. When living in the last, a stray peacock called at the door. He used to sit on my husband's car bonnet. On a freezing night, he must have died [or been eaten by a fox]. We called him - Bok - one of the sounds he used when he greeted us. smile

gracesmum Mon 12-Mar-12 11:40:58

And I'd better not talk about jeni

Not sunny in East Cheshire yet, GG, but it feels and smells like spring, if that makes sense.

GoldenGran Mon 12-Mar-12 09:57:10

I'm really sorry I missed it, was doing other stuff, but would have had alot more fun if I'd been with all of you. How's every one feeling on this glorious sunny morning--All bright eyed and bushy tailed? grin

Oxon70 Mon 12-Mar-12 09:33:03

At least I didn't end up with someone under my blanket......booooo
