Chris Evans. Never heard his radio show but couldn't stand him on TV. I am pleased that you mentioned Gordon Ramsay, HappyNanna. I thought he was considered a bit if a hearthrob but could never see it myself. I love cookery programmes but the greasy hairy bikers are a turn-off for me, wouldn't fancy eating anything they prepared.

Why does Chris Evans have to shout? Town criers are redundant, we now have radio and TV to carry his voice to us. Top volume not needed.

I forgot to include Jo Brand, Ken Loach, Adele [ though I do like her voice ], Lenny Henry [ paricularly now he has sprouted facial hair ], footballers who overdo the 'me, me, me' while ripping off their tops and throwing themselves onto the ground in front of their fans when they score a goal [ Stanley Mathews never did that ], the People's Socialist Workers and Nuclear-Free Republic of Ken Livingstone, and Sean Penn.

Have been reading through everyone's posts and agree with many of them, here are mine, Slimeballs those positively oozing oiliness and insincerity as personified by Peter Mandleson, Chris Huhne, Tony Blair, the supercilious Angus Deayton, Berlusconi (how did the Italians put up with him for so long?) David Cameron. Anyone remember Hughie Green, Opportunity Knocks with his frequent "sincerely folks". Plain obnoxious - Gordon Brown, Ken Livingstone, Denise Welch and Sherrie Hewson (because they are always talking about themselves stopped watching Loose Women a few years ago when those two started to appear) Self important Windbags - Dianne Abbott, hate the way she closes her eyes when she talks in that very slow and precise manner also Harriet Harperson, both sound as if they are addressing five year olds and of course John McCarrick revolting yuk!

The woman who gives journalists an even worse name - Susannah Thingy - on BBC Breakfast. Can't abide her, never mind remember her name. She simpers, flutters and pouts and scrunches up her cleavage; she smiles inanely at inappropriate moments, then realises she's got it wrong, and quickly fakes a mournful look. She's never in control of her argument and when the autocue slows down, she stretches o u t e a c h w o r d because she can't work out what must come next. If only they could have hung on to Sian.

I'm going to have to watch that Specki!
