For me, it would the late Jimmy Seville, Cliff Richards, John Redwood, John Prescott, the Pope, Noel Edmonds and Ricky Gervais and Putin and all the Republican presidential candidates.

I find Bryan Ferry repulsive, turns my stomach! Most of the other postings too I agree with, Jeremy Clarkson is totally obnoxious!

And you can just mind your p's and q's Carol. I have a long memory.

Annobel Tue 20-Mar-12 21:19:39

And Michael Portillo - slimy. Remember that 'Portillo moment'?

yogagran Tue 20-Mar-12 23:02:10

Jane Fearnley-Whatsit is one of us isn't she??

Faye Tue 20-Mar-12 23:34:41

I notice we all mostly can't stand Tony Blair and Jeremy Clarkson and they make me feel like hitting them in the back of their knees with a large stick switching off. hmm

annobel I always think James May looks a bit unsavoury - nothing a good haircut and a power shower wouldn't put right though grin

shysal Wed 21-Mar-12 08:52:54

I feel I want to (s)mother Richard Hammond with those bush-baby eyes. Sometimes I think he is cute, but he can be irritating - but I blame the script writers!

Annobel Wed 21-Mar-12 08:55:20

Ah but Gally, he wouldn't be James May with a decent haircut. He probably does have a power shower - it's his scruffy image which is endearing - maybe it brings out the mum in me!

greenmossgiel Wed 21-Mar-12 08:56:18

Tony Blackburn. He never looks comfortable somehow....as if he's 'pretending' confused

greenmossgiel Wed 21-Mar-12 08:58:01

And Gloria Hunniford...too sweet! ('ark at me! I could maybe do with being a bit sweeter!) grin

GoldenGran Wed 21-Mar-12 08:59:12

Simon Cowell.

I always knew Englebert Humperdink was creepy but he sure has got a lot worse. And he is representing us in the Eurovision Song Contest. Saw him last night on the One Show. I like that Matt though.

kittylester Wed 21-Mar-12 17:35:59

I'm with you - on both points flowerfriend!

Annobel Wed 21-Mar-12 18:19:01

Daniel O'Donnell. I find his voice very creepy and can't understand why he is supposed to appeal to women of a certain age.

greenmossgiel Wed 21-Mar-12 18:24:13

Oh crikey, yes Annobel! He's awful.....! He smirks smarmily - (sorry, pedants!) while he's crooning those horrid songs! shock

Anagram Wed 21-Mar-12 18:26:44

I am a pedant of the highest order, Greenmossgiel, but "smirking smarmily" is just what D. O'Donnell does! Gah! shock

Annobel Wed 21-Mar-12 18:46:29

Don't see anything wrong with 'smarmily' as an adverb formed from 'smarmy'. And it sums him up perfectly - love the alliteration too, green.

Towerhouse39 Wed 21-Mar-12 19:17:33

I put Robert Magabe at the top of my list closely followed by Denis Skinner, Sally Bercow, Hugo Chavez, George Galloway, Naomi Campbell, Chantell [ I don't know if that's her real name ] and Julian Assange [ I wish he would just go away! ].

artygran Wed 21-Mar-12 19:22:33

Nigel Kennedy. I admire his huge talent, but can't stand the mockney accent and the "Let's see how much like a dosser (yes, that's with a D!) I can look".

nanachrissy Wed 21-Mar-12 19:24:04

Bercow.. There's another smarmy smirker!

Anagram Wed 21-Mar-12 19:33:14

Yes, nannachrissy, and another phoney accent to boot!

shysal Wed 21-Mar-12 20:19:23

Just watching 'Four Rooms' on Channel 4. Jeffrey Salmon is so slimy!

shysal Wed 21-Mar-12 20:21:33

They are just examining an antique dildo.'Apparently they were available with steam power! The mind boggles!

jeni Wed 21-Mar-12 20:29:41

Haven't you ever heard of the obscene reminisces of an aged terminal engineer?

Greatnan Wed 21-Mar-12 22:15:48

All the over-egoed competitors in The Apprentice (and Alan Sugar, of course).
