Free cocktails and freely I to thee allow, soop! grin Watch it, or I'll tickle your misbehaving toes! wink

supernana Fri 06-Apr-12 11:12:47

bagitha...you remembered! grin
Nurse on her way. Had better behave myself. Back later. xx

Oxon70 Fri 06-Apr-12 11:14:01

Cheers, super

Oxon70 Fri 06-Apr-12 11:14:46

......porridge is good for hangovers....

Annobel Fri 06-Apr-12 11:51:45

super cupcake since we don't have a hot cross bun emoticon. smile

supernana Fri 06-Apr-12 12:36:33

Oxon ...enjoy a bowl of porridge every day. Good stuff! x

Annobel ...nice nurse been. Seems to think I've been 'a good girl' hmm. Hot cross buns ready for the warming of. Delicious! Especially with naughty thickly spread butter...grin

Annobel Fri 06-Apr-12 13:33:48

Little does that nurse dream of what you've been up to, super. Are you getting those horrid anticoagulant injections in your tummy?
I ate two(!) HCBs when I got home yesterday and felt very stuffed which served me right. So decided against buying any today [halo emoticon].

supernana Fri 06-Apr-12 13:47:11

Annobel anticoagulant tabs. Nurse thinks that Wednesday night's spectacular nose bleed may have been a side effect. Arms and legs black and blue with bruises. Leg twice it's normal size. Elastic stocking very Norma Batty-ish. grin

nanachrissy Fri 06-Apr-12 17:09:48

Sorry Annobel blush I promise to behave next time and go and come home with you!
I was led astray by Soop in her knickers! Honest!

supernana Fri 06-Apr-12 17:27:41

nanachrissy...they were rather wonderful...made the eye-balls swivel anti-clockwise.grin

ERROR! 'Twasn't Norma but Norah Batty who wore the sexy stockings.

jeni Fri 06-Apr-12 17:43:26

WHERE did you get them?

Ariadne Fri 06-Apr-12 17:51:40

Do tell! xx

supernana Fri 06-Apr-12 18:02:22

I fashioned them with my own fair hand. Softest silk in subtle rainbow colours with dear little ribbons at the sides...chuckle...used to fit a treat...those were the days grin

jeni Fri 06-Apr-12 18:29:07

Yes, we'll? confused

supernana Sat 07-Apr-12 11:32:17

jeni...the knickers are a figment of my over enthusiastic imagination. In reality, I prefer Sloggis...grin

Annobel Sat 07-Apr-12 11:36:06

Virtual knickers - I like the thought of those.

jeni Sat 07-Apr-12 11:59:32

So do I, plain white , no nonsense!smile

supernana Sat 07-Apr-12 12:08:03

Every time!!! Buy them on special offer from a catalogue. Great fit. Wash well. What more could a girl ask for? smile

granbunny Sat 07-Apr-12 12:25:57

virtual knickers? worn those often enough. went out for lunch with mum, dad and daugher when daughter was nine or ten years old. mum confessed she hadn't been able to find a pair, so daughter and i admitted all ours were in the wash. dad was out with three generations of the women of the family and not one pair of knickers between them. blush

supernana Sat 07-Apr-12 12:45:45

grannybunny that made me laugh out loud. grin

harrigran Sat 07-Apr-12 20:10:40

My mother once took me out without knickers, when she realised she was mortified. She was such a stickler for correctness that it took her a long time to get over it. For mother think Hyacinth
Bucket.

SOOP Mon 09-Apr-12 13:01:44

harri Hyacinth Bucket, a real gem...grin

eGJ Mon 09-Apr-12 14:33:09

Does that make you a member of the Redhatters harrigran? In Norfolk it was always "Red Hat - no knickers"!!!

harrigran Mon 09-Apr-12 21:24:29

eGJ where I come from the saying is " fur coat and no knickers "
SOOP the writer of the Hyacinth series must have known our family because my father's nickname for mother was mrs Bucket and that was the 1950s. She used to talk of soirees with her lady friends too.

glassortwo Mon 09-Apr-12 21:29:10

harri it is a good North East saying though isnt it grin
