Annobel anticoagulant tabs. Nurse thinks that Wednesday night's spectacular nose bleed may have been a side effect. Arms and legs black and blue with bruises. Leg twice it's normal size. Elastic stocking very Norma Batty-ish.

virtual knickers? worn those often enough. went out for lunch with mum, dad and daugher when daughter was nine or ten years old. mum confessed she hadn't been able to find a pair, so daughter and i admitted all ours were in the wash. dad was out with three generations of the women of the family and not one pair of knickers between them.

SOOP the writer of the Hyacinth series must have known our family because my father's nickname for mother was mrs Bucket and that was the 1950s. She used to talk of soirees with her lady friends too.
