Willcarr26 We live in a supported development of 16 apartments with a lovely communial garden area, with you living in a housing assocation property they would most probably agree to rehouse you into maybe a flat or bungalow which would suit your needs better,we have a warden who can call 5 days a week if we require it and 24 hr emergency help at the press of a button, this gives me piece of mind if I am out and about or away and mr.glamma has the help he needs if he has any problems. We also have the offer of days out but as Annika says they are dominated by women of a certain age,we hold parties and celebrations in the garden, have some of our favourite plants from our previous homes planted in the communial garden,so all in all it is a good move for us.So have a chat with your housing manager and see what is on offer, they are not what they where years ago, mine is decorated and furnished to a high standard which would compete with anything from any new homes brochure.
