I worked in a large opticians one of our patients had the unfortunate name of Ruben Mycock,picture the scene when a young saturday girl went to call him for his appointment in a crowded waiting area she had never come across the name Ruben before pronounced it 'Rubin' and added Mycock after it deathly silence ensued Mr Mycock slunk forth,saturday girl in hysterics in the filing room Nellie and rest of staff trying keep a straight face...I did here that his children had changed their surname by deed poll grin

Many years ago I worked for a new homes builder called Hassell Homes,the name was apt when it came to the snagging list when people first moved in ??grin

Thousands of years ago I used to work as a wages bod for the P.O. Telephones ie. before they were nationalized, and one of the engineers was call D.E.D. Body. His parents must have had an odd sense of humour!?

The person who made my husband's supports that went inside his shoes was called Mr. Clogg.We also had at school an Albert Hall, Victoria Plum and a Theresa Green.
