Today, I'm preparing to paint a wee portrait of a very handsome marmalade cat - who answers to the name of Pepper. Our very own black feral cat - who answers to any name, providing I'm bearing a dish of food, sauntered to the door for three breakfasts, gobbled the lot, washed his whiskers [reluctantly] and disappeared into the depths of the forest.
