what a shame sad

Wonder if it was all the standing in the cold yesterday. Perhaps the Queen should have sat down. Then he could have done.

Hope he's better soon.

I see the Duke has been discharged from hospital , he looked happy and sprightly as he got in the car to go home....
I bet the Family will be glad he is home for his 91st birthday tomorrow... I wish him well .

Nobody as speculating about his health, the palace put out a statement!

A spokesman for Buckingham Palace said: "His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh was taken to King Edward VII Hospital in London this afternoon from Windsor Castle as a precautionary measure after developing a bladder infection, which is being assessed and treated."

A six day hospital stay is some bladder infection!

6 days is nothing for a water infection in someone of his age.

My M.I.L. went totally ga ga and caught C.Diff poor soul. It took almost 6 weeks to start to recover.

Lets hope he is out of hospital soon and back to his normal self as he is a one off in my opinion, having to wait all that time without using the loo will have infected his bladder and caused the problem but protocol stopped him from going downstairs to use the facilities he could have only left the front deck if HM had also left in the first place, which is a stupid state of affairs given his age.pogs your poor M.I.L must have been in agony the poor lady.

I don't mean those who have posted with a tongue in cheek attitude by the way. I'm sure he has a good sense of humour about it. I guess I have been surprised at the dislike the Royals have generated, each to his own as the saying goes.
