My "baby" (i.e. my youngest D) has just been round with some exciting and quite unexpected news - she is 9 weeks pregnant - babe due in January.

We really thought that she and her OH were not planning a family - how wring could we be!

We are thrilled!

Congrats to Bags too - it seems to be catching!
I have just heard from my brother that my niece is pregnant (almost identical due date to my D) - this niece has undergone so much infertility treatment, so it is an extra delight. No doubt my D and her cousin will be comparing notes all the way.

My poor Dad will never be able to keep up with all the GGC!

Mishap & Golden Congratulations - last year I became a GG (at only 62) and I am enjoying GGD so much, not working now and have more time.

Lovely news from all of you. You make me feel I'd like another GC to cuddle. Waiting for the GGC!

The good news in my family is about GD1 who had a struggle at school because her dyslexia was never acknowledged until 6th form college. However, she managed to get a place on a foundation course in fashion production and technology at Manchester Metropolitan Uni and has now finished the second year with such excellent marks that she is automatically accepted into the third year of the degree course next year. She has worked very hard for it and I'm so proud of her.

...and rightly so, anno. That's such good news and isn't it marvellous when kids find their niche. smile
