Good business woman, our Lil. Her large beer herb garden is so productive she has had to open a drug store

I hear she's making a fortune selling pot plants to the locals....

I wonder if gramps is heading there........

I think that's what sent him to rehab the Retreat for Retired Gentlemen Pete! (as well you know - all those forages down Lil's back passage to the herb garden were, you must admit, instigated by your good self...)

Lil said would you please stop debating wether her back passage was the route to gramps decline after his numerous attempts to find the pleasure gardens,and ultimately Nirvana,now as you know anywhere as moist and damp as a back passage can only produce fungi and Lil said gramps was definitely a funguy,and they both enjoyed feasting on his magic mushroom,and Lil being a big girl was able to provide as mushroom as gramps needed for his experimental ways,the herbs in question are no more than a few manky lavender sachets from mothers drawers to keep you away from her secret garden to which gramps accidentally fell head first into that night,and to stop the cats peeing round her gate.
Lil would like to express she misses her lively old soldier,and his practised methods of marital arts of which he is a black belt once removed,and looks forward to his return so they can order take away pizza...a 12" meat feast is their favourite with an extra portion of mushrooms,a side order of onion rings,and a corn on the cob,delivered by the nice man on the pop pop bike...pete I hear they have a vacancy for a pizza delivery person if you are interested,and they can continue to look through gramps books on the militaria and ,exclaim at the sizes of the weapons of mass destruction,and nuclear warheads,their favourite dads army repeats and his ageing collection of dandy and beans....

Yes that was a typo but he could add beans to his armoury,to blow away the enemy and Lils cobwebs that have gathered in the interim..

I might add that Lil has remaind faithful so I think it might be a match made in heaven,and an unlikely meeting of body and mind.....

That's what I thought, nellie. I imagined them fermenting in a corner somewhere, ready to be called to action at any time....

We might have to start looking at hats...

I'm getting confused here! Who has Lil remained faithful to? Is it Pete or gramps? Or both?

Will just add an extra something to the ambience,and the action,so much so that I think I should be looking at PJ's with go faster stripes,to match gramps gold medal achievments in the horizontal jogging Olympics...

...not forgetting Pete's runners-up medal in the duck'n'dive...and that was out of the pool!

Fifi won the gold in that event. She hasn't been able to sit comfortably ever since...
