Just back from a brilliant sunny morning at Eton Dorney, no travel or other problems. Not a GB gold medal in sight and only one GB rep who came 7th. It didn't matter - we were surrounded by Magyars who did well and swept us along on a tidal wave of enthusiasm. With my links to other nations I did rather well! Even better I TOUCHED GOLD. We stopped for lunch in Dorney Court Garden Centre & were invaded by the NZ team including their sculls Gold Medal winner, Joseph Sullivan - a lovely guy. Son too shy to ask for a photo so brazen grandma did and got to wear a Gold Medal.
It’s been a while so I will start us off…….whats for supper and why?
