My SIL has just sent me this. Made me laugh as I have just spent twenty minutes looking for the car keys.....they were in DH's pocket and I asked him TWICE if he'd seen them.

It must be hereditary. My first car was a red Hillman Imp. I'd taken my mother to the shops and was surprised when I looked across the road and saw her trying to get into a red Ford Anglia - and if you remember that far back the Anglia had a very distinctive shape.

Couldn't get the video above -
I sent a text on my mobile this week to jeni on her landline number!
I don't do texting very often.
At least once a day I go upstairs and forget what I've gone for.

A few years ago we were at MIL's for a family wedding. I was sent to SIL's just around the corner with some flowers for bridesmaids who were getting ready there. I walked into the kitchen, which seemed very quiet, no-one around, put the flowers down on the worktop and came out wondering where everyone was. Then I saw my niece across the road, looking at me in bewilderment. Yes you guessed- it was the wrong house. I had to creep back in to retrieve the flowers and get out quick. I was only 43 at the time!

Those landline texts are so funny, aren't they? No inflections, no pauses....

Does anyone else do that thing where your phone rings in your bag and in the panic of trying to find it before it stops ringing, you think "I must have lost it! Maybe it's been stolen!"

Before I remember that it's ringing, so it must be in my bag somewhere...

Maybe I need to get a more compact bag instead of the Santa's sack I lug around!
