Why does doing the washing-up make my feet hot?

I don't get that but my other half is always getting a warm foot but its only one so can't work that one out .....

Maybe the act of standing still makes the blood flow southwards to your feet, thus heating them up?
I usually have bare feet in the kitchen - especially when the underfloor heating is on [Oh Joy!] emoticon

Try washing up using your hands instead! grin gringrin (Sorry for being silly, its the way my mind works!)
