well done flickety so well said,at the present time I am not posting as often as I did as my little "cottage industry" catering business has taken off so well that i wonder where the day's are going.I feel sad that nellie and susieb are not posting as nellie brought such light banter to the threads that she engaged in and it was always a pleasure to read susieb's input,but by the sound of it she has a very well deserved diversion stopping her at the moment.

Littlenellie has left us. She sent me a text message. I'm very sad to lose her. She is a bright, witty, funny lady.

Thanks for asking, kitty...I think not. She said that GN has changed such a lot and she no longer felt part of it. I was dismayed to hear that. I told her that she is loved and missed. I found her posts to be witty and funny. I doubt that I shall laugh quite so much from hereon.

I'm so sorry to hear about nellie and I agree with her. The bickering, constant complaining, and persistent 'dog with a bone' picking away at issues drove me away for a few days after this weekend. People I had respect for came back to have one more go. How disappointing. I'm giving Gransnet a rest for a week or so. Peace x

I am really sorry to lose littlenellie - I wish I had an address for her so I could tell her how much.
I have also felt inclined to stop posting but I decided that would be giving in to intimidation, so I shall continue to contribute and ignore the jibes about bullying which some people try to introduce onto every thread.

As a relative newcomer I didn't know littlenellie well, however I've always heard her spoken of in affectionate terms. Soop, I know you are particularly fond of her. Perhaps she will return.

You have missed something by not knowing her long, baubles - she had to face intolerable loss and kept her sense of humour. She does not value herself enough, but plenty of members of GN value her very highly indeed.

I feel really sad now. Those of us who have been on here since the beginning have had a very enjoyable relationship with each other, adding more and more friends to the group as more people joined in.

I just wish everyone would consider their words carefully before posting and treat everyone as they would wish to be treated themselves.

Plase come back Nellie and Jings, you both added a lot of character to our conversations.

I bet you all miss her terribly on there.

I thought Jo 4 was on holiday. I certainly will miss her too I enjoyed her 'sparky' input very much.

Greatnan your comments on Nellie are really kind. I shall pass on all your messages. I doubt that she will reconsider. Her text really knocked the stuffing out of me. I had no idea that she was unhappy. That's bad! I should have known better.
