I Dread Christmas, 2012

Feeling the need to have a thread that is not full of seasonal jollity. OK at the moment, but it is looming (and other GNners are starting to post about their preparations)
Never liked it. Kids and GKds in southern hemisphere. Have to put on brave face. That's me.

JessM why dont you like Christmas--people usually have a reason, My Dad did not like Christmas because my brother died 24 December and my husband does not like Christmas because he says that everywere is closed!!

PS I really do like Christmas, it is a reason to be happy and give gifts, and for me it was the only time that my Mum ever seemed happy to spend any time with us.
