A light-hearted thread for piss-takers wink

Five hour round trip to orthodontist today. I needed a coffee. I didn't buy it from Starbucks (don't like their coffee anyway).

Can I have some P(olitical)C(orrectness) points, please?

What else earns PeeCee points nowadays?

I have no washing machine or dish washer and I use my bath water to wash my clothes. I don't use my bedroom to save heating it and I don't need to put my living room radiator on because I watch TV/surf sitting under my duvet with a hot water bottle. My entire fuel bill (electricity only) for last year was about £400. Beat that! And I live at the same altitude as Snowdon. ( This is not frugality - I don't like hot rooms.)
I waste no food since I discovered I can cut a large baguette into pieces and freeze them.
I wear clothes until they fall to pieces.
I buy wine in a box so there is no bottle to recycle.
I claim the PC prize!

I thought the mints might stop them burping up all that methane....

jO5 Fri 23-Nov-12 16:57:29

Oh, I see!

Mints make me burp. smile

Ana Fri 23-Nov-12 16:58:22

I don't think they burp it, Nanad...hmm

Allright, greatnan, if you're getting competitive: do you compost your nail clippings, and the hair and dust out of your hairbrush, and the contents of your vacuum cleaner?

Does anyone except me?

300 points, please!

Bags Fri 23-Nov-12 16:59:34

wink

jO5 Fri 23-Nov-12 17:00:47

I leave the hair out of my hairbrush floating around in the garden. For the little birdies in their nests. smile

I didn't buy a coffee at Starbucks (they haven't ventured to the wilds of the Peak District yet and I don't drink coffee anyway), I didn't buy anything at all from Amazon, DH and I used only one car and we don't have any sort of swimming pool, although DH used the one where were staying so it didn't go to waste. I don't eat yogurt, so have no pot to wash, BUT the grandchildren have yogurt in those tube things - have you ever tried to wash one of those and not get soaked?

How many is that please and how do I cash them in - are they like Nectar points? I have nearly enough of those to pay for the Christmas booze!! grin

whenim64 Fri 23-Nov-12 17:08:11
