I washed out my yoghurt pot before putting it in the recycling.

I live an exciting life I do!

And I turned off the central heating and sat in bed much of the morning. Dozed some of it. Either way, I was saving the planet! May go back there and do some more saving the planet. But not so much that I don't sleep tonight.

I'll start using my broomstick and rely on wind power during the winter to save fuel.It is turbo charged by the way.

Instead of using bleach down the loo, I float the lemon slice from my G&T there overnight. Is that green?

Nanadog8 loved that, what a brilliant idea on many fronts! *isthis the yoghurt pot washing - me too! On a non PC note, I'm very glad I didn't have seven different bins for recycling when life was a great deal busier! I seem to have become obsessed about recycling everything correctly in the hope that someone will give me good marks.

I went to Venice a couple of years ago and all the waste bins in the airport were split in three and colour-coded. With no explanation, even in Italian. Didn't know where to throw anything!

Walking the dogs (all 8 of them) earlier I passed a herd of cows. About half a dozen of them were hanging their heads over the gate looking sad. I fed them the remains of a packet of mints I had in my pocket.
