Which is your favourite TV Crime Series , There are many of them on
the TV at the moment .Leaving Poirot out of this for the time being , I
for one prefer ' Lewis ' but in all honesty I Prefer Sgt. Hathaway as the
character on account of the way his Cambridge education is portrayed and
exchanges in conversation beween him and Lewis .

Loved Morse but not Lewis, love Frost, Foyles war, New Tricks, Scott & Bailey, and the Australian series Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries, for the art deco fashion and scenery as much as the stories. I have enjoyed Lilyhammer too, though the crime is secondary to the stories. I enjoy watching Scandinavian crimmies for the language - I love trying to learn Danish or Norwegian from the sub titles - quite a lot of my Yorkshire dialect in there.

I miss Dalziel and Pascoe too - my lads used to laugh their heads off, as kids, when Dalziel got talking - so much like their Dad in voice if not attitude. Mind you, they are both plain speaking grumps!

And, please don't lynch me, I miss The Bill.

Nonu - yes, we are. This time we are going to Lake Tahoe where my DS, his wife and one year old are joining us for a few days, then we are going down to Phoenix (Scottsdale), for the last week to enjoy some proper sunshine. (After going to Devon in April we feel entitled to some warmth!). We visited Lake Tahoe three or four years ago and really loved it, so wanted to go back.

To those of you who enjoy the old detective series, Alibi Channel is excellent - I have caught up on all sorts of things I missed the first time round. Not sure if it is available on Freeview, though.

Found The Fall very disturbing and scary.

Tegan I watched The Fall, and I too thought it was a bit disturbing. The fact that he had those lovely children but went out murdering, was horrible.

So far though I think it's going to be good.

I think so too, Ella. It's certainly different - not a loner, but a family man...chilling!

I'm going to stick with it but I actually felt a spooked at home last night when something went bump; something that I'm not prone to feeling.

Yes, I got up and closed the curtains grin

I double checked that the back door was locked....

Must admit I'm not a fan of the really dark/gory stuf fand when I read in a write up that a child is envolved I never watch. My ideal victim is someone who is not very nice themselves!
